Brittany has worked and built relationships with children and young adults with intellectual disabilities since the age of thirteen. She graduated from South University- Richmond in 2013 with Cum Laude Honors and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She Was a Dean’s Scholar, and the Vice President of the Psychology club. Brittany worked at the Sarah Dooley Center of Autism for three years as a counselor in the Career and Transitions classroom before getting promoted to teach in October 2016. In the classroom she combines Applied Behavior Analysis and building trustworthy, personal relationships to ensure the success of each of her students. Currently she is enrolled in a continuing education class for teachers to obtain her renewable teaching license. She plans to continue her education by getting a Master’s Degree in Special Education.
