Samantha Sunderman grew up in a military family and has moved around a lot in her life. However, she has finally found her home here in Richmond, VA. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary and Special Education. She will also be graduating with her Master’s in Education in Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in December 2019. She knew she wanted to be a teacher ever since she was a little girl and she truly loves her job! Samantha taught for three years prior to coming to Sarah Dooley Center for Autism. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with my family, hiking, reading, watching movies, and traveling. She is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for students in a welcoming and inviting environment.
